<![CDATA[<h1>Ecole des Vins de Bourgogne</h1><br><h2>Fundamentals (Wine basics)</h2><br><h3>Description</h3><br>This course is usually held on a Saturday morning. It is an intensive introduction to the wines of Burgundy. Included is an audio-visual presentation covering the main characteristics of the vineyards and the classification system of the wines of Burgundy followed by a structured tutorial on the basics of how to taste wine.

- Time: 9.30am-12.15pm
- Location: Tasting room at the Ecole des Vins in Beaune
- Price: 50 euros per person
Options: Lunch at one of the many fine restaurants in Beaune from 12.45pm. This is an additional 40 euros per person. A tasting of 4 wines selected by the BIVB is included in this price. Reservations need to be made at the same time as any courses selected.
- Student Discount: 15% on wine courses only. (there are no discounts for restaurant meals).
- Group Discount: available for groups of 4 people or more.
