<![CDATA[<h1>Ecole des Vins de Bourgogne</h1><br><h2>Full day course</h2><br><h3>Description</h3><br>This course is usually held on a Saturday.
It is an intensive introduction to the wines of Burgundy. The morning will include an audio-visual presentation covering the main characteristics of the vineyards and the classification system of the wines of Burgundy (area, production, the hierarchy of appellations, vinification and elevage of wines, grape varieties, the grape-vine...).
This lecture is followed by a structured tutorial on the basics of how to taste wine (visual examination, olfactory examination, examination on the palate, the wine-taster's vocabulary...), illustrated by a tasting of 6 wines of Burgundy.
After the lunch, the afternoon consists of a visit to the Château du Clos de Vougeot. There will be an explanation of the composition of the Grand cru vineyards. Afterwards there is a visit to a domaine which will include a tasting.

- Location: Tasting room at the Ecole des Vins in Beaune, vineyard of Côte de Nuits.
- Price: 175 euros per person
- Student Discount: 15% on wine courses only. (there are no discounts for restaurant meals).
- Group Discount: available for groups of 4 people or more.
